Established in 1976, our roots run deep through Statesboro and East Georgia providing customers an opportunity to experience all types of travel. Over the years, clients return again and again as second and third generation travelers in order to explore the world.
Burns World Travel is a full service travel agency specializing in cruises, honeymoons, group travel, travel insurance, worldwide vacations, airline and train tickets, and corporate travel management. The agency also provides travel services for educational institutions including K-12 schools, colleges, and universities throughout the state of Georgia.
We are fully accredited by both the Airlines Reporting Corporation and the International Airlines Travel Agent Network.

Our Story
1976
Andy & Patty Burns bought Ogeechee Travel on East Main Street in Statesboro.
1985
Andy & Patty changed the company’s name to Burns World Travel.
1990s
Burns World Travel opened offices in Richmond Hill, Vidalia, Hinesville, and at the Savannah Airport.
2003
Joseph Eason joined Burns World Travel as an agency partner.
2007
Burns World Travel relocated to our current location at the Village Square in downtown Statesboro.
2022
In 2022, Joseph Eason acquired Burns World Travel as Voyages Travel Ltd Company.
